Lauren “Fawn” Frontuto is a freelance illustrator, writer, and deer enthusiast currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Fawn grew up in a small village just outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin called Luxemburg. She attended Luxemburg-Casco School District until her graduation in 2021. She then moved to Minnesota to study at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration with minors in creative writing and teaching on May 17th, 2025.

While at MCAD, Fawn has displayed her artwork in multiple solo installations as well as in her school’s main gallery for the annual Made at MCAD exhibition. During her sophomore year, she was selected to participate in the WorkArt Kunstverein Internship Program through the Center for German & European Studies at the University of Minnesota. She spent seven weeks of the following summer as an intern at an art gallery in Germany, the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden. In her junior year, she taught a series of beginner drawing classes at The Pillars of Prospect Park and has volunteered for the Art Buddies program at Whittier International Elementary.

Fawn is currently working as a Life Enrichment Assistant at The Pillars of Prospect Park and looking for work and representation as a freelance writer and illustrator, specifically in the children’s book industry.

Fawn dreams of living in a cute van with a big dog, spending her days traveling, writing novels and comics, and illustrating children’s books. Her hobbies include travel sketching, drawing at coffee shops, learning about video games, reading comics, watching YouTube, and listening to music.
